FCB were back in action hoping to continue their winning start to the season. They were up against the often frustrating rival Bar Galicia (previously Taverna Pastor) and with key players Eddie, Ramiro & Isma missing. FCB lined up with Hutch in goal, a back 4 of Quique, Christian, Dorus & Ricky, in midfield Fabian, Ben, Luigi and Christoph with Foxy & Zak playing up front. The game started with FCB attacking from right to left and the sun shining in Hutch’s eyes. FCB were trying to play their game but the opposition were not allowing FCB to get into their flow with regular fouls and theatrics to break up play. When FCB did manage to break through, an FCB player would find themselves offside or unable to finish/complete a pass. Ben and Dorus picked up yellow cards the latter appeared to be very harsh having already won the ball and the opposition player running into him. FCB went in at half time all square at 0-0 looking frustrated and hoping for a second half reaction.

After some harsh words at half-time from Fletch, FCB came out looking hungry and determined to make amends for their first half performance. After creating a couple of chances, the game continued in the same manner as the first half until disaster struck. Ben who was already on a yellow card from the first-half fouled the opposition midfielder in a mistimed challenge and the ref had no option but to show a second yellow and give Ben his marching orders. This actually seemed to spur FCB on and they seemed to lift their game but despite some tactical substitutions and some good chances through Dom, Ricky & Luigi FCB were unable to make the breakthrough and were left highly frustrated at the final whistle.
