FC Británico’s Bunwer Team return to training this week and kick-off their pre-season with a match this Saturday 29th August 2020 against Iberos CF. It’s been a long enforced break for the guys but they are all raring to go and have been keeping fit and match ready with plenty of TimPik games during the summer.
The word from the Liga Bunwer is that the season is planned to restart again from Saturday 19th September 2020 with a match against Bar Castilla’s. The format for the forthcoming season is that we will finish the remaining 3 games of the Liga Clausura to enable each team to have played each other once and to decide the title. After that, the league will return to it’s usual Apertura/Clausura format.
At the close of proceedings back in March, FCB was top of the table on a maximum 15 points from 5 games and 3 points clear of their nearest rivals. With games against their 3 nearest rivals, FCB know that it will be a tough return to action and they’ll need to be ready from the get-go.
COVID19 conditions mean that there will be some unusual conditions to comply with, but football is back and the guys are raring to go!
