Mundi 2009

This year proved to be a big improvement on previous tournaments with Reino Unido topping the group. First with a 2-1win over Honduras, with goals from Simon Bigwood and Alisdair Clarke, then a total 7-0 destruction of Germany, and a well fought 1-1 draw against Guinea Conakry, again Clarke getting on the score sheet. A tough quarter final game againstUruguay was to follow, and suspensions, injuries and holidays meant a squad of only 12 would be available. Uruguay won 5-3, after Reino Unido were 3-1 up at one point.
