egional team went down 3-0 today away from home to AJDC La Mancha B. Words by Mikey Langan.
“FCB Regional started very poorly, and were chasing shadows for first 15 minutes until AJDC scored. Thereafter, FCB grew into the game, and were the better side in the closing stages of the first half, but they were undone by a simple ball over the top and were two nothing down at halfttime
The Regional lads had a chance to get back into it right on half time (the ref blew the very next second) but Will scooped over from two yards after great ball from Lee and good header back across goal from stevie mack.
FCB started promisingly in second half, with dave pugh going close. The next goal was always going to be crucial and, after slcak play at the back and a horrid deflection, the Regionals were three nil down and it was game over. The game fizzled out thereafter, with La Mancha probably likely to make it four than us get back into it. FCBkept fighting to the end to be fair, but it wasnt to be and individual errors really cost us”
