Once again, another stunning performance from the boys in red and white as they ran riot against Bar La Rueda, winning 17-2, with ten of those goals coming from an outstanding first-half performance.

The scoring was opened by Lewis Jones with a ball coming in from Dom on the right side, which he turned into the net in the first attack of the game. Lewis returned the favour for the second Británico goal as a lovely through ball splitting the opposition, falling to Dom for a cool finish. Producing more attacking brilliance mere moments later, Dom managed to net his second goal which was a beautiful 20-yard strike into the top corner.

The fourth goal came again from Lewis as a wonderful strike put the ball and the keeper into the opposition’s net. Lewis got his second assist as he neatly lobbed the defence and put the ball into the path of Vico Sanchez who controlled it with a cracking first touch and calmly stroked the ball home to score the fifth goal.

A sensational 6th and 7th came from Norwegian wonder boy Fab with his first goal coming from a long-range effort that squirmed through the keeper’s hands, and his second another perfectly placed bottom corner goal.

Scoring the first hattrick of the game Lewis once again produced a cool and calm finish from the centre of the area to put the team 8-0 up. The 9th goal of the game happened when a strike from distance by Vico struck the post and left the keeper dumbfounded. Number Ten came from Fab who picked up his first-ever hatrick for Británico with a scorching strike from 20 yards out, finishing the first half fantastically.

With a few changes made at half time, the Británico boys started the second period with more gas in the engine. The first goal came from a beautiful through ball from Joe and Dom was there to put the ball in the net, picking up his hattrick with an amazing Robbie Keane-esque finish with the back of his foot, making it 11-0. The 12th came Vico who once again produced a pearler from long range which found its way into the top corner.

The opposition managed to grab two back though in quick succession, as a show of nice pass slipped through the Británico defence and infuriated coach Rami.

It wasn’t long though before the boys found their momentum again and John Jarrett made up for a missed penalty with a tap in from some brilliant build-up play. To make it 14-2, Vico grabbed his fourth goal with another long-range stunner once again finding the top corner.

Briggers made it 15-2, as the keeper deflected a shot from Vico into his path and he made no mistakes from five yards out. Completely cracking from Craig. Then the self-proclaimed tap-in king John, netted his second goal from a miraculous header delivered in from the corner by Joe. Not long after John once again proved his tap in prowess with an assist from Briggers, grabbing his hattrick, the fifth of the game, finishing the scoring masterclass as the game ended 17-2.

So once again the Británico boys dominated with a high-class performance, that demonstrated their solidarity as a team and their world-class abilities.
