Ismael Majid netted the opening goal, tapping the ball into an open net after the referee adjudged the keeper to have spilled the inswinging corner. The protests that followed resulted in a flurry of cards for the travelling team. The only goal that separated the sides, somewhat controversially, as a lacklustre Britanicos went in at half-time a goal to the good.

After the restart, some fantastic intricate play from Majid, Harry and Bosetti resulted in the latter dispatching his shot expertly past the keeper.  15 minutes later captain Harry added to his seasons tally after latching on to a Rogers through-ball and smashing it past the keeper to put real daylight between the two sides.

Pedro Lopez-Andrade pulled one back late on for the away side, lobbing keeper Delgado from 20 yards out.

Majid and Harry combined again and the keeper could only parry the shot into the path of onrushing Hussein, who simply tapped the ball into the back of the net to score his first goal of the season and cap off a man of the match performance.

This was far from Britanicos best display of the season, but they did, however, produce a much better performance in the second half. Manager Rami Majid on his sides win: ´´ It is important we maintain momentum and a good run of form heading into the knockout cup which starts in three weeks. I´m confident we can rediscover the aperture title-winning form and take that into the cup where I´m confident my boys have every chance of winning it´´.

Los Britanicos next play away against AAPLA in eleven days time, where they will be hoping to make it 2 wins on the bounce.
