The FCB Regional team continued their impressive run of victories with a 7-3 win over Estremera. The team started with the familiar 3-4-3 set up and dominated from the start. With less than ten minutes on the clock, Mark broke away, went round the keeper and slotted it into the bottom corner. Not to be outdone, a few minutes later Josh with his back to goal spun and struck a sweet curler beyond the reach of the opposition keeper. With further goals from Zach and Mark, Britanico appeared to be cruising but in the second half Estremera came out more determined and after missing a couple of chances pulled back to 4-2. This seemed to spur FCB on and nice work in the middle led to another goal by Zach. But straight from the restart Estremera replied to make it 5-3. FCB did not let their heads drop and two further goals from hat trick hero Mark plus a bullet header from Nick after nice work down the left wing finished the game. With one more game to go away to 5th place Absolut Sport, let’s hope for a similar performance and a good end to the season.
