COMEBACK KINGS FCB BUNWER RESCUE POINT IN BATTLE OF THE BENCHES

FCB 3-3 Instalaciones J Uceda

FCB came back from 1-3 down to claim a valuable point against last year’s champions amid another animated confrontation between both benches led by each manager!

THE DOGS TESTES!!

Cervezas Mahou 0
FC Britanico 4

After a break last week and the disaster of Navidul the week before, FCB Bunwer knew that they had to get something from today’s game down at the big stadium in Carpetana formerly the greyhound track! The Brits were quick out the traps woofing and puffing but the first goal didn’t arrive until shortly before half time but from then on it was one way traffic with a further 3 goals added to the tally. Great to see a vastly improved performance from the lads and ‘Bulldog’ Josh took the Man of the Match vote.

FCB Bunwer 0-1 Embutidos La Nuncia

Bunwer Brits slump to depressing defeat against 4th bottom after fine run of form.

LET’S MOVE SWIFTLY ON!!

Match Fact: This was just the second time all season that FCB failed to score during a game

FCB Bunwer fall just short of record goal tally with a 10-1 victory over Amiviajes.

After concerns over whether the game would go ahead due to torrential rain, FCB went goal crazy and birthday boy player/coach Lee Fletch got in on the action. When a defender scores for this club it’s big news and we certainly got an earful from Chris Parker after his long range effort found the back of the net….via Fletch some claimed!!!

Match Fact: Parker’s first goal for the club against the travel agents of Amiviajes

HAND OF GOD AT THE CAGE!

FCB Bunwer scored a glut of goals in the first half against Bar Los Timbales on Saturday to race into a 5-0 half time lead, however they could only add a single goal to their tally in the second. Striker Emeka brought back memories of Mexico 86 with a blatant handled effort on the line exercising as much subtlety as Bernard Manning! This player is rapidly gaining a reputation for using his hands!!

BAR PINOCCHIO MADE TO LOOK WOODEN

The final score told no lies as FCB Bunwer got their noses firmly in front and pulled all the strings against Bar Pinocchio to maintain an impressive start to the year.

Match Fact: New signing from Oldham, Josh, makes his FCB debut in midfield.

TEN goals, TEN a side, TENsion

Saturday saw another action packed clash between Britanico Bunwer and Procarton which had red cards, a penalty (initially saved), overhead kick, great goals and Elvis’s leg style tension!  The visitors came into the game on an unbeaten run so far this season so FCB had it all to do but came within 60 seconds or so of ending that run. There could well be a return fixture in the next few months when the league splits……bring it on!

Match Fact: After winning every game so far this season, these were the first points dropped by Procarton.

THE FCB BUNWER RINGMASTERS TAME THE ANIMALS

After last seasons mauling down at the den, FCB went with whip in hand to teach ‘Los Animales’ a stern lesson in resolute defending and how to preserve a 1 goal advantage. Ish provided the crowd pleaser to maintain FCB’s lofty position in the table.

Match Fact: FCB Bunwer have now hit 15 goals and conceded just 3 in the opening three matches of 2013!

How to snatch a draw from the jaws of victory….just ask FCB Bunwer!

The slick passing game that FCB Bunwer try to drum into themselves deserted them on Saturday morning as an error strewn performance made this a hard fought draw. However after taking the lead 2-3 the lads then shot themselves in the foot by allowing a seemingly harmless cross get converted into an equaliser.
