Bunwer Can’t Make it 3 in a Row

Maycometal 3-1 FCB BunwerA disappointed Michael Langan

The Bunwer lads turned in a disappointing performance away from home, with only flashes of their recent form showing what they are really capable of. Despite having the better of the first half chances, they found themselves a goal down at half time. The team had looked stretched and when Maycometal found some space 25 yards out, their midfielder was able to pick his spot into the bottom corner. FCB showed improvement in the second half and deservedly equalised as Mark poached in on a Nick Boyle knock into the box. The goal bouyed Britanico spirits and put Maycometal on the rack, however they were to regain their lead when the defence were caught flat footed and the pacey striker made it 2-1. Still huffing and puffing, FCB had chances, Mark striking the post from a header. The game was put beyond FCB when the number 7 cut inside, ran right across the back 4 and fired a sweet curling finish in off the post. It was a disappointing result after recent performances and there were some ugly scenes towards the end as tempers heated, however the Brits must return to their strengths as they face Superefectivo next week.
